Across the Douro River, in the Gaia neighborhood, there is a seafront walkway that’s a popular place to explore on foot or bike. It has award-winning beaches, sandy dunes, and picturesque views that draw in photographers. Different routes allow you to take in many different views. Hikers looking for a longer adventure can extend the trail up to 25 miles, providing even more opportunities to soak in the breathtaking scenery.
