Tân Bình, Ho Chi Minh City

"One of the oldest temples in Saigon, featuring beautiful gardens and historical Buddhist relics."
Giac Lam was built in 1744 and is one of the oldest pagodas in the city. Built by a Chinese settler, it was converted into a Buddhist temple in 1772. It's located in Tân Bình, a bit outside the center, but it's worth visiting its beautiful gardens and interesting Buddhist relics. Entrance to the pagoda is free, but dress modestly as a sign of respect.
