Milan Local

Stepping inside the San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore feels as if you’re walking into an antiquated museum, filled with rich frescoes, embellished walls, and inspiring architecture. Locals call it the ‘Sistine Chapel of Milan’ as plenty of the artwork inside was done by da Vinci circa the 15th century. The overall color palette of the church reflects that of the time of the Renaissance, highlighting the story and faith of the city of Milan. Entrance is free, and it’s located on the famous Corso Magenta street.
