Tokyo Local

When you walk by Edo Castle, stop for a view of the Chidorigafuchi Moat. It gets its name from its unusual shape, which locals say looks like a plover — a type of bird. A walking path around the moat includes a 700-meter-long tunnel of cherry blossom trees. This is the main attraction if you visit in late March through early April. Besides walking the path, you can also take a boat ride on the moat.
