Casa Museo Guillermo Tovar y de Teresa
"This charming little “chalet” is filled with art pieces, oil paintings, and furniture from Mexico’s Viceroyalty era."
Licensed Tour Guide
Mexico City Local

Formerly owned by Mexican historian Guillermo Tovar de Teresa, this mansion is now the third location of the Museo Soumaya. The main highlights of the venue, declared Artistic Heritage of Mexico, include paintings, period engravings, sculptures, antique furniture, and embroidered tapestries. A piece of advice — this Colonia Roma spot is very photogenic, so visit during weekdays to dodge the Insta crowd.
