Casa Guedes Tradicional

The original Casa Guedes opened in Jardim de São Lázaro in 1987, but there are now several locations across the city due to its popularity. Here, you can try simple and tasty pork sandwiches topped with local cheeses and the Porto specialty — the Francesinha sandwich. The restaurant is relatively small, so you’ll see locals standing outside eating their sandwiches or taking them to go.
