Milan Local

Brera Botanical Garden was commissioned in the 18th century by Maria Theresa. The empress wanted to convert a 14th-century Jesuit garden into a cultural and educational hub, becoming an important resource for teaching pharmacy. An effort to revitalize the gardens began in the 1990s, and the addition of flowers, shrubs, and trees created a beautiful setting. If you happen to visit the garden during design week, you will see rotating art installations inside the park.
