Arc de Triomphe

If there’s one spot to admire the sparkling Eiffel Tower at dusk, it’s from atop the Arc de Triomphe — however, at any time of day, you’re blessed with 360-degree views of Paris. At 50 meters high, visitors can ascend the emblematic landmark via 300-odd steps. At the top of the arc is a small souvenir shop. It’s always very busy, so expect to stand in a queue. Located in the heart of Paris, it’s at the western end of Champs-Élysées. The “Iron Lady” is an eight-minute drive or a 30-minute walk from here.
