Roma Norte, Mexico City

"A relaxed restaurant dedicated to mole, the signature dish of great Mexican family gatherings. It honors the baroque cuisine of Puebla, known as the cradle of mole. Try the delicious enchiladas de mole poblano and some chalupitas to start."
One must-try dish at Angelopolitano is their chile en nogada, which many patrons rave about. (It’s a stuffed and roasted poblano chile, comprising minced meat that is mixed with spices and fruit.) For something really satisfying (and a great lunch option), try the cemitas sandwich. However, this homely restaurant is also famous for its mole. If you’re in a hurry and are very hungry, perhaps consider elsewhere. Angelopolitano is small, where the atmosphere is very relaxed and casual, and because there are not too many tables, you will wait to be seated.
